" Didn't read much of what you wrote."
I see that. Why respond then? If you're not willing to learn why try to educate others?
"Firstly it looks like you conflate someone's expressed gender identity with their being human. 'Protect transgender kids,' is sophistry. A parent who has a 14 year old claiming they need to tell the world their gender with purple hair dye, breast binders or penis tickers, or rainbow clothing is a human."
I " conflated someone's gender identity with their being human?" What are you even talking about.
No, each human has a gender -- a gender identity -- and gender expression, the way they express their gender through their identity. Nothing here is conflated, sorry -- you're wrong and that is Scientific Consensus.
Yeah, right -- like what people like you are saying isn't harming transgender children. Give me a break.
I think that is between the parent and their child, and I think the government should stay out of ... what clothes people wear? What clothes their children are allowed to wear? What medical operations someone is allowed to have. I mean... Do you have any clue how many minors get breast augmentation?
" If my kid wanted to believe they were a bobcat born in the wrong body should i expect to see signs that read 'protect transpecies kids?'"
Oh yeah, that is a very pointed argument -- because preferring to express yourself differently and identify with different things that humans made up than what people want to force you to identify with is definitely exactly the same as wanting to be a bobcat.
This argument is silly. Humans invented clothes, for example. It isn't unusual for someone to want to wear different clothes.
You're not transgender and you have no idea what it is like to be transgender. Being transgender is literally awful, it's almost unbearable -- I never leave the house. I hate being transgender, at least I do when people like you exist. To act like this is encouraged is asinine.
Also " didn't read much of what you wrote" didn't bother to read the rest, get a brain.
