I function normally mentally and physically. It's just different genetics, therefore I don't have a disorder.
That's why they changed the name. Not because " woke" or whatever reason you are objecting to the accurate terminology for, but because **disorder** is only an accurate descriptor if you are enforcing binary sex as a standard in a society... Because in no way does having a different sex to the binary inhibit one in society... other than of course having to read misinformation about yourself all day long.

Again, something you are trying to do, which is why you are saying "DSD."

I would love for you to find me an intersex person that likes being referred to as that, but you also have one right here -- and I think using the term is asinine.. it's like if you said Pluto is a planet -- things in Science change, there is a reason that antiquated terminology gets phased out.

Either way, an anecdote doesn't really mean anything -- it's a more accurate descriptor -- for the same reason that " transsex" is offensive and " transgender" is not; because "transsex" is not an accurate term. Their gender is different from assigned -- not their sex, as this would be impossible.

Both of the misnomers are used to dehumanize and disenfranchise those population groups. So just say you're doing that, I'm so tired of the acting as if this isn't the goal of spreading these ideas -- there is no scenario, world, or universe in which this article creates better quality of life for intersex and/or transgender people. In every circumstance, this would certainly do harm to that quality of life.

So, ask yourself why? Why do you think you're doing that? It isn't to chase the truth, I just responded with that and it's most certainly not in your article.

So then what is this about?
