If you live in a rural area, you still need to do your part to be considerate for everyone else, i.e. most of the people in rural areas commute to work in truck.

It is simple supply and demand, if you use more gas then you are saying you are more important than everyone else. Every human on Earth has a pre-allocated amount of petroleum in the ground for them that will run out and some people are taking a lot more than others.

That's my point.
