In the article, I do happen to say that I do not think else is bad, but can be used poorly. I think the key is to know when to use else and when not to use else. I do not find anything too click-baity about asking a question that I provide my subjective answer to. Many programmers are very against the use of else, and I think that the first time a newer programmer might hear this it could scare them away from using it, which I think is a mistake or misinterpretation. I touch on this a few times in the article, but mostly wrap up my thoughts in the conclusion. Thank you for your concern and response, it means a lot to me.
