My Hiatus From Humanity, And What I Took Away From It

A brief review of what I learned while not assimilated with modern culture.

So, it’s been a while!

A very strong interest I have maintained throughout my life, and often neglected with my determination for science, is my love for nature. Not often do I write about qualitative and subjective ideas that I conjure in my mind, but there is a first time for everything. Sometimes the modern world can get overwhelming, and to get away from it all I love to experience the great outdoors. The great thing about camping, and more specifically minimalist camping, is that the tranquil simplicity of the beautiful wilderness gives ample opportunity for internal thought.

In my day to day life, I often get caught up in the

“ Go, go go!”

mentality. For mental health, I would definitely not recommend this, but I believe as per our modern routine, it is all but too easy to fall into this hidden trap. For me personally, I often find that in this scenario my mind becomes my greatest enemy, and hinders me in many significant ways. A great remedy for this is precisely the action I took, and I had a long internal debate about my next move on these ideas, and important things I learned on my recent…
