Nuclear energy is byfar the most efficient energy that we know of. If you believe otherwise then you are misinformed. The problem with nuclear energy is the enormous overhead. It costs a lot and there are a lot of safety concerns with nuclear energy.

Which is why government-subsidized and monitored nuclear energy is good. You can look to the soviets, if they did one thing that was actually important for their people it was building nuclear infastructure.

Most of the power we use is hydroelectric or nuclear. I do think electric cars could be a potential.
