And there is also a lot I think that scientists could take from statisticians and machine-learning -- as they have been! It's pretty radical how mainstream it has become, especially across all of these different disciplines! Lately I have been interested in BioInformatics, and was delighted to know that modern Biology has basically become data science. I suppose this must make our skills somehow even MORE useful!
