Yes, on all ends data can be risky, especially when it concerns both these sorts of crimes and transgender people. Realistically, we don't even know how many transgender people are in the United States... But again, all this does is support the idea I want to prove with the article, as if there are still the same amount of shootings but more transgender people then the average transgender person is even less likely to shoot someone.
The source I was able to find said 4/3,500 school shootings were committed by a transgender person, so this was the data I cited. Even if it were to be say, 1.6-percent, this would still be representative of our population percentage. As you know, there is no correlation here, and even if there was this would not necessarily mean there was causation.
